I bought this tea basin to introduce a bit of fun to my otherwise serious tea ware. I have no regrets. I never tire of finding new, fine gradients and crackles in the warm, beatiful glaze, which, on reflection, reminds me a little of the colours of my tortoiseshell cat.
This tea basin can easily take surplus water from two solo tea sessions – waking the leaves and multiple cup rinses- and I’m completely confident (&look forward to) using it for group sessions. It’s a very welcome addition to my tea tray.
